Cragg Farm is a working 275-acre traditional family Lakeland Dairy Beef & Sheep farm.

Set in quiet picturesque corner of the Lake District in the unspoilt village of New Hutton.

Here you can enjoy pleasant walks and panoramic scenery of the Lake District and Howgill Fells.

This attractive 17^th Century stone built farmhouse has original oak beams and many interesting features including a Oak Court Cupboard dated 1661.Cragg Farm offers all modern comforts within a friendly atmosphere.

Accommodation

Cragg Farm offers comfortable accommodation comprising of 1 family/1double/1single bedrooms.

The Bathroom has toilet, shower/bath & washbasin. All rooms are tastefully decorated yet retaining their old world charm. Tea & Coffee making facilities and Towels are provided in the rooms, all rooms have central heating.

In the morning, you can enjoy a hearty home made Full English Breakfast or a breakfast of your choice.

Special diets can be catered for by request. Families are welcome, and pets are acceptable upon request.

Location

Cragg Farm is situated 4 miles from the historic market town Kendal and 3 miles from the M6 junction 37. We make an excellent base to explore the Lake District and its many attractions, Windermere 12 miles, Keswick 30 miles. The Yorkshire Dales are also within very easy reach and make an excellent contrast to the Lakes, Sedbergh 8 miles, Hawes 22 miles. There are numerous walks and cycle routes around Cragg Farm and many more in the local area. Kendal offers many attractions, which include The Museum of Lakeland Life, Arts Centre, Parish Church and sporting facilities. You can browse at your leisure around the many quaint shops and yards. Kendal has two shopping centres and many places to eat.
